Oh LORD how much of my life do I live in the blind
Darkened is the heart, dead is the soul, disturbed is the mind
The war of sin is always one that never seems to relent
The lack of you, I pray, should be my torment
Oh LORD I pray for resolve to seek your face
I pray that you would continue to preserve me in this race
As many are the stars in the sky is my sin which is a great divide
Restore me the grace and joy of which only you can provide
Let me see your Son, whom you sent to die
Continue to work in me the GREAT truth so that I reject the lie
That says He is not worthy and greatly to be praised
That deadens my life so I cease to be amazed
Let me feel your presence via the work of the Holy Spirit
Let me be aware of all that He does so that I do not sear it
Create this revival and make His presence felt
So that the heart of flesh may continue to melt
Awake in me to the glories of your great sovereign rule
Let me see the wonders of your creation as not to be a fool
Awestruck I will fall so amazed and full of wonder
At your marvelous word which comes forth like thunder
Oh great and Holy father I pray intimate knowledge of you would be my pursuit
I pray against enemies which seek to destroy and pollute
This marriage bed of joy and knowledge of you so undefiled
I pray that my love and satisfaction in you would be anything but meek and mild
Work this not only in me but for the sake of your great name
Which is the sole thing deserving of any amount of fame
Continue this work in me so that you might draw your sheep
So that the will behold your majesty far and deep
